The course study combines teaching how to understand
the verse structure, the sense and meaning of the words with a
deep personal response. Shakespearean verse helps us become more
aware of our bodies, particularly our breathing patterns. As our
physical awareness and sensitive appreciation increase we then
have an instrument that becomes capable of expressing Shakespeares
language.
